Organisation

Led by a Board comprising Directors who have extensive experience in General Management, Financial Management and HR management, bPotential is a small team bringing together high-level knowledge and expertise in diverse fields. Many companies around the world do not have ready access to on demand management expertise to facilitate change and development and are forced to make do with situations that is not ideal for business development. We think that by combining our expertise with the available cutting edge technologies for collaboration we can fundamentally change this by enabling access to such resources.

Board of Directors

  Profile Summary
Mr. Peter C. D. Rezel

Peter is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka and holds a Master of Science Degree in Applied Psychology from the University of Colombo. He has also undergone specialized training in Human Resources Management with INSEAD Singapore.

Peter brings more than 30 years of experience, both in the corporate and development sectors. He has held various CEO roles in the garment industry before taking over as Director HR and Finance of IUCN, International Union for Conservation of Nature. His main areas of expertise are Finance, Human Resources Management and Organizational Development. He also specializes in strategic planning and proposal development, organizational restructuring and in conducting institutional and programmatic evaluations and capacity assessments. He currently serves as the Managing Director for a group of companies comprising GLIDE (Pvt) Ltd. and Strategic Inspiration (Pvt) Ltd. in addition to bPotential.

Mr. L. G. S. Perera

Lawrence Gregory Shriyantha Perera is a Fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka (FCA). He is also a Fellow Member of the Institute of Certified Management Accountants of Sri Lanka (FSCMA) and an Associate Member of the Institute of Certified Management Accountants of Australia (CMA). He has also completed the examinations of the Institute of Internal Auditors, USA.

Shriyantha has an over-all experience of over thirty years in external and internal auditing, financial management, financial consultancy and general management in leading organisations in Sri Lanka and abroad including several years in a leading Swiss based multinational company while serving in Saudi Arabia. He was the Chief Executive Officer of   ID Lanka Limited, a company in the alcoholic beverages industry for a period of 8 years during which tenure this entity showed significant improvement in results in both market share and profitability. In addition Shriyantha was the General Manager – Finance at Agalawatte Plantations PLC and the Chief Operating Officer of Millers Brewery Limited. He was also the Chief Operating Officer of a leading entity in the Non-Bank Financial Sector of Sri Lanka, Commercial Credit & Finance PLC.

Mr. Nuwan D. Rezel

Nuwan holds a M.Sc. in International Management from the University of Liverpool and a Bachelors Degree in International Business Management and a minor in Finance and Banking. Nuwan is also a Certified Professional in Human Resources (PHR) and a Society for Human Resources Management Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) and holds membership of the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM).

He has a strong background in management, particularly in the field of Human Resources, with more than 15 years of experience in this field. He was formerly working as the Regional Human Resources Manager, Asia for IUCN, International Union for Conservation of Nature based in Bangkok, Thailand.
